Designed and built by Atlantus Dynamics Corporation for the Adriatican Navy, the Tridamos was one of the earliest serving cruiser class in the fleet. Measuring 1.9km long, she was designed as a Fleet Cruiser, capable of a variety of missions. Several modern starships were built based on the Tridamos class, most notably and recent being the Atlantus Class Battlecruiser and her Battleship variant. As with most Adriatican ships, the Tridamos class ships are capable of Atmospheric and Aquatic operation.
Shown here is an example of the most recent refitted version of the Tridamos class. Though her external arrangements remained mostly unchanged, the refit upgraded the main sensor systems, engine reactors as well as the primary and secondary computer core units. A newer class of ship will be designed to replace the Tridamos as most of the latest weapon systems such as the Point Defense Laser Banks and Heavy Rail Gun turrets cannot be supported by the Tridamos space frame.
