Republic Trieste Class Research Cruiser

The Republic Exploration Division Commissioned Atlantus Dynamics Corporation to design a new Modular Science Cruiser for their Deep Space Exploration Fleet. The Trieste was the outcome of that new initiative. Over 600m long, the Trieste is equipped with the most sophisticated array of deep space and planetary sensor systems, including the new "Seeker" ATR-400 array units from Bertol Stellar Group. The ship is also equipped with 16 inter-changable module laboratories, expanding the science capabilities of the ship. A medical variant was created for the Naval Relief Squadron as well as a full militarised variant named "Orion". As with most Adriatican ships, the Trieste is capable of planetary and aquatic operations.

- Finally got around to re-doing the Trieste for CoM 3.0, this time using Photoshop mostly for the coloring and detail. The new ship was inspired by the Prometheus as seen in the latest Alien franchise, as well as submarines from modern day navies. Will be working on the Orion Variant soon. Cheers
